Recycled Rubberwood
Made with clean, natural rubberwood recycled from rubber trees no longer able to produce latex. To keep the rubberwood pure, no fertilizer is added to the soil for three years before the trees are cut.
Preservative-Free Processing
The wood is stablized using a time consuming chemical-free kiln-dry process in place of chemical preservatives.
Alternative Energy (Solar Cell & Biomass)
Plan Toys uses solar energy and low emission biofuels to power the machinery that kiln-dries the wood and the finished toys. Biomass is also used in the curing and plywood molding process. This form of energy helps reduce electricity usage and waste.
Recycled and Recyclable Materials
Plan Toys uses recyclced and recyclable materials to produce pckaging and promotional materials in order to minimize the impact on the environment.
E-Zero Non-Formaldehyde Glue
Toys assembled using a proprietary non-formaldehyde glue in place of traditional toxic wood glue. This glue emits no Formaldehyde fumes and is rated E-Zero.
Water Based Dye
Water based dyes are used to add accent colors. These colors are environmentally friendly and non-toxic for children.
